Hi there!
I’m Gloria, a freelance graphic designer specialised in Branding and Packaging, based in Valencia, Spain.
My interest in the creative world began when I was just five years old, watching my father paint. I was fascinated by the way he mixed colours, so he bought me a miniature easel and my first paints. I still remember those moments fondly. Since then, my passion for art, creativity and design has continued to grow.
“Less is more” has always been part of both my life and design philosophy. I believe good design should communicate a lot with very little, and that every detail matters.
I have 15+ years of international experience, specialising mainly in Packaging and Branding, particularly within FMCG and consumer brands.
One of the most important stages of my career was living in Amsterdam and working for over three years at Design Bridge, an international branding and packaging agency. This experience helped me grow enormously as a designer and gave me a broader perspective on design and international brands.
For the past seven years, I’ve been working remotely as a freelance designer, collaborating with international agencies and clients.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects for brands such as Air Wick, Vanish, AkzoNobel, FrieslandCampina, Lysol, Finish, Harpic, Vifit, Barry Callebaut, Licor 43 and LD Tobacco, among others.
Packaging is my main area of expertise, built through many years of experience working in this field both in Spain and internationally. But I also love Branding: understanding a brand, finding its essence and translating it into a strong and distinctive visual identity is always an exciting challenge.
More recently, I’ve become increasingly interested in applying my design experience to brands and organisations that can bring positive value to the world. My ongoing volunteer collaboration with Tugende Together, a non-profit organisation supporting children and education in Uganda, has been particularly meaningful to me and has made me want to explore more projects with a positive social or environmental purpose.
At the same time, I’m constantly learning and exploring AI and new creative tools as a way to expand my creative practice and bring ideas to life in new ways.
